Anybody using the turbo 3000 fuel saver from TA??

I agree w/Dave. Most of that stuff has been tried in many fashions over the years and while some see some improvement, however slight, I could not ever justify a purchase. However, if you really, really want to see fuel mileage go up, use MotorKote. This has never failed me in anything that...

    speedco or other service centers

Just had a PM on my new (to me) truck at Speedco, Jackson, Georgia. Great job. I always stay in the bay to keep an eye on things, but I have never had a problem with Speedco. Plus always a break compared to Petro or TA or anyone else for that matter. Saves me well over $60 - $70 dollars...

    sprinter to ford/chevy

RLENT.... You should be a service manager for Daimler! I can't help but tweak you guys when it comes to Sprinters. You and a few others seem to have them figured out and do a lot of work on these rigs on your own and that's a real good thing. I wish I had found you before a friend of mine...

    Best Expediter Truck

I forgot about the KW I started expediting on. That was a pretty good rig too. Not great on fuel but it would roll down the road.

    Best Expediter Truck

After reading a thread from a newbie.. I thought this might be a good topic. What is the best, nicest or both Expediter truck you have driven? I am still open but have driven Hino's (too small and no power) M2's (plenty of room, no power) International Eagle (nice) and soon.. Freightliner FL...

    sprinter to ford/chevy

Like I mentioned.. a handful love their little German junk trucks.. no problem. just when someone who is just getting started expects us to give advice, I can't understand why anyone would reccomend that truck. Ford or Chevy run circles around that van in every single reliability and...

    sprinter to ford/chevy

Ford Transmissions are good for 250K and that's about it. Good news, used $500. Easy in and out. The engines last forever. I sold my e-350 with 550K and it's still going strong. Sprinters are nothing but headaches. There's a few on here who apparently own stock in Mercedes but for all of...

    Cat 3126 or Detroit 50

I am looking at a couple of older trucks. One is a 2000 FL 80 with a 3126 Cat @ 600K. Well maintained, no blow by, doesn't burn oil never a problem. Diagnostics and compression check all good. The second is a 2001 FL106 with The Detroit 50 engine and 450K. Well Maintained (this one sounds...

Cat 3126 in FL 70 Question

I am used to running as DT 466 at about 1800 rpm and that gave me about 70mph. Just test drove an fl70 w/cat motor and ran 2200 rpm for about 65 mph. Is this normal with this Cat motor??/ How is the fuel mileage??? Seems to be geared too low... Dave
