    Replacing side doors on a Ford CV

    However, i'd consider replacing the complete lower hinge assembly as the fasteners are easier to access. And there does not appear to be an effective way to repair the detent mechanism which is almost always wornout by the time the hingepin bushings fail.

    def blue tech for sprinters

    Bluetec means you can increase compression ratio back to what it used to be. This creates extra NOX, but that is after-treated. More power, better economy :-)

    super singles tires??

    1st 5,000 miles

    Here are some tips. Don't idle the vehicle excessively. Your engine wont create good heat until you are driving it. Use the right fuel, which I guess most are, and use the right oil. These will all help to keep the soot load down thus preventing as much from getting into the EGR valve.

    Cool truck scales

    That is a cool truck. That have tons of models there I've never even seen. We don't really have any hobby stores around here so I get most of my stuff at wal-mart. I bet some people would come up with some great builds of those trucks

    Which APU do you have?

    We wouldn't be without our APU. A very prudent purchase, so finding a truck with an APU is a bonus, but here's the problem with the APU's that I've seen. You need to know how well its been maintained, just as much as the truck. If it hasn't been maintained well, then it will cost you money in...

    Truck ride

    Replacing shocks on a pickup or SUV is easy. A bolt on bottom and top are all that keep them in place. But replacing struts is another story; they normally require a trip to the repair shop or dealer where special tools and trained mechanics handle what becomes an expensive half-day task.

    Cruise Control on Chevy Express 2500

    Cruise is still an option on many vehicles today. You can get a brand new 2010 Express work van without cruise, same with the Silverado, Colorado and many others.

    My Next Cargo van. The Nissan NV

    It is ironic to me that Nissan is introducing a full size van while Ford, the leader in full size, is doing quite well with the Transit Connect.
