I have Sirrus and I think the programing is better. XM spent a lot of money for MLB and didnt do much with the other stations and Sirrus seems to have passed them up a bit. IMO

I was in the process of signing up for a load broker and he was giving me some stats on FL. One day there were 2,500 loads going into FL and 750 comming out. So you can see the averages suck and it just doesnt seem like good business to operate out of FL.

Check the classified section there are always fleet owners willing to hire drivers with little or no experience. Its really not brain surgery and most fleet owners realize this.

I know this will cause a stir, but this post combined with some other conversations over the past few days with some more happy Panther II drivers I will have to open my mouth and insert foot. I can see the two sides of the story and it is becomming apparent that Panther II is making O/Os money...

If you get a conceal carry permit find out what states it reciprocates with and carry it according to the laws of that state. It is not illegal to have a gun in your truck as long is it is carried according to that states laws.

Yea it will limit you some but not that much, the numbers LDB quoted are about what you can bank on, possible to do more but its really up to you and how long you want to stay out.

You should be able to make about 600 a week with half those miles. I wouldnt bank on 3,000 but it is possible.

I called one school and they had a dump truck you could drive for your CDl B but I dont know if that will work for a straight truck license or not but it was the only B vehicle they has for rent( 175.00)
