I'm not sure how the sprinters do here at V3 as I drive a team straight. I eould suggest calling Sean Kessler directly at V3 and speak with him. He is very knowledgeable. As far as deductions that we pay as drivers, we pay $35 each person for occ/acc insurance weekly. We pay no other expenses...

Thanks for the input guys...we ended up getting a shortie from Dallas to Hot Springs Arkansas, but better than sitting. Dispatch was wonderful to us and I know everyone did all they could all week for us. Hopefully next week is on to bigger and better things!

HI! My husband and I drove team straight all last year where we do the 60/40 split with us paying for fuel. We received our 1099's and the way they were done is it shows the total deposits to us for the year, not the actual amount we grossed each week. Anyway, we have all these fuel receipts...

Was simply a question asking why the 60/40 is hard to find there, and thanks to a few contributors, I got an educated answer.

The issue was never meant to be about an owner ripping a driver off at 40 or 50% but rather why it is different in the Load...

Also, we really like the FSC at L1. We averaged around .44 there before.

The fuel is split Dave. But running our number against this, we come up between $250 & 567 a week short instead of our 60% not to mention, this fleet owner asks us to pay half of his expenses as well.

Question I have is...is it unheard of to get the 60/40 split at Load One? After much research (and our own figures from driving) this is what we want to do. But it seems that everyone wants to do 50/50.
