Anyone have any feedback on A+ Expediting?

I've worked with them for a couple years now. I like the crew and they pay as fast as anything I've run across. No complaints. When they're on a hot streak they give me lots of work. Steve

    the muti carrier driver push

WHAT insurance are we talking about here. I (an OO) currently carry my own insurance with riders for the companies I run for to the tune of $3500/year. ??

Is this time of the year always this slow?

You know, if one was to search back over the years, one could find this comment nearly every single month. It's much too simplistic. I do feel, however, relating to other comments, that the industry is getting crowded. Steve

    Flying J Parking Policy

Seems to be votes for TA (of truck stops) here. I'm somewhat of a newbie and had heard we aren't all that welcome at TA. But have not tried them personally - maybe I should? - in addition to learning new big box parking lots......

    Flying J Parking Policy

It may just be Florida or it may just be me, but the last two Flying J's I have been to (Tampa 4/75 and Fort Pierce) have seriously restricted expeditors parking. One said Denny's has new owner and they insist on all parking in front of their restaurants be for Denny's customers. In Ft...

    6 V versus 12 V House batteries

Are you seriously saying that the 6V deep cycle is deeper than the 12 V deep cycle? Or did you think I was comparing starter batteries to house batts?

    6 V versus 12 V House batteries

In nearly any post regarding house bank batteries, it seems everyone connects 6V batteries in series to get their 12 volts. Why don't people use a pair of 12V's in parallel to get the same bang? Is is avaialbility (due to golf carts?)?

    UltraMaxx cargo van

I'm invading here without having read the whole thread, but I must tell you that I recently bought a Chevy 3500 extended cutaway with a Unicell 12' box with a 4.8 and a 6 speed tranny. It runs just fine and gets me 16 - 17 mpg at 65 - 70.

    Brokers/expediters in the Southwest ?

Everything I see points to all the brokers being in the upper midwest (broadly defined). Are there any brokers that utilize OO's that are located in or specialize in the Southwest? Living near Tucson, doesn't it make sense to look for someone local if at all possible? Thanks. Steve
