For what it's worth Ms Wolf,
my advise would be find an Attorney in the State your Contract was drawn up in and make an appointment. Most will not charge for an initial consultation.
Good luck.
26 posts, 11 have nothing to do with the question "can a solo make a living in a Straight truck" Would any solo's be kind enough just to post your average miles per month. No rate, no carrier. Just your average miles. Thanks in advance
My two tours with Bolt Express, Dispatch always told the dead head, mileage to destination and the amount they were offering. If it was acceptable it was then sent over the Qual Com.
Unfortunately they failed to tell me on my last trip I could be baby sitting the load through that night and the...
Could someone explain to me, that if the worlds largest oil reserve was found in Kansas City Mo. Why Exxon Mobil or Chevron Gulf would sell it at less then the world market price.
I have a 1999 F 250 Super Duty, when it reached 100,000 miles and was off warranty, I switched to synthetic. Change it at 10,000 miles along with the filter. It now has 300,000 miles with no significant difference in oil consumption.
It's cold & raining outside. That being said I still could not go back through each of the 18 pages on this subject, BUT.
Regarding Independent contractors & carpenters. When I was a framer, building took a nose dive after the Stock Market collapse in October 1987. It didn't really start again...
There are Banks in China that will not honor International money orders. I have sent cash to China by Registered mail. In Registered mail, every Post office that handles the letter\package is required to sign for it and keep it in a safe while in that P. O.'s possession.
Where #95 crosses the State line from Ct to NY is at Byram\Greenwich Ct. It's a long easy curve going to your right. The only sharp? turn is is getting off to go to White plains towards the Tappan Zee Bridge. Puts you on as I recall #287
I have no idea. I was canned last November.:p I'll be happy to bet the amount that Panther withholds every week is close to twice what Bolt withholds. Plus the fact there may be NINETEEN vans sitting in front of you, you may not getting too many miles.
I'll say again. Last week a Panther driver said he was sitting in the Carolina's. NINETEEN VANS in front of him. Doesn't seem like too many back hauls there.:p And again I'll say I don't believe the AVERAGE Panther driver is doing 2000 paid miles aweek.
What happens when "Bob" is 1100 miles away with no freight and it's the other drivers turn?. Does Bob deadhead 1100 miles to change drivers?. I don't see how in Expediting you can assume Bob is going to "work" his way back on schedule. Why not have the drivers on opposite ends of the...
Go down to "Carrier Forums" look under Bolt Express, see some posting by EBSprintin. I have no idea of his age and am guessing at his gender. OR call Bolt ask for Anne M. Ask her about the drivers who are there to make money. The ones who don't pick and choose. Ask what kind of miles they are...
That's ten thousand miles in ten days. I expect your the exception to the rule. It was no more then a week ago a Panther driver posted there were nineteen vans in front of him. Think he's averaging a 1000 miles a day?.
I doubt very much his Pop is going to get 1300-1800 a week with Panther. Plus when they get finished with all the with holding he'll really wish he went to Bolt.
Ms. Louhoo:
I am not trying insinuate in any way or say in anyway your significant other is stupid. I do how ever fail to understand how after seven years in the business he's on his fourth carrier in one year. Getting beat once and going back again is understandable maybe even twice. Not three...
