    You wore what shirt where?

Now what would happen if you wore a Florida Gator shirt around Columbus Ohio. For all who care I sent Ms Anne from Bolt Express a Florida Gator National Champions shirt for her to wear. I am still waiting on the photo to appear on EO. LOL

    DIVERSITY

But is it the State of Michigan's problem that GM,Ford and Chrysler did not keep up with the automobile market thus having to layoff thousands of workers( with their huge UAW benefits) plus all of the trickle down effect that resulted in their suppliers and vendors having to layoff...

    Box truck question...

If the truck is under 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight then a cdl is not required but otr trips in a vehicle over 10,000 pounds gvw require the driver to maintain a log book. Many Ryder and Penske rental trucks are registered at 25,999 pounds. Then they can be rented to individuals without a cdl.

    WHERE WERE YOU 9-11-2001 ????

I was home and turned on the computer and there was something about a plane hitting the World Trade Center. I then turned on the TV and saw the second plane come in and hit the other tower. I woke up my wife and my first words were "The country is under attack". At first I was confused, then...

    Broompilot

BP is the type of person who would be there for you, help you in a time of need and go on his way without any fanfare. Lots to be said for that type of character. Others could emulate him.

    A good company

I agree with Steve. I have a friend from Waycross GA who hauls new cars and does extremly well. He loads a lot out of the BMW plant in SC and delivers through out the SouthEast. Home weekends plus home 2 nights a week and his company provides decent motel rooms when he is not home.

    Confused

No an owner operator is an individual who owns the truck and also drives it. If you are driving for a fleet owner you are just a driver.

    D Units on the Highways

KW and Jeff make some very good points. They are not working for a truck but working for themselves. What they earn stays with them rather than making a huge payment to a bank or finance company. Why have a $255,000 truck and no home when you can make the same income with a $40,000 truck, have a...

    Driver Pay

Fritzy Looks to melike you are earning 12.5 cents per mile for all miles.Thats way down on thepay scale. You said the truck was a non commercial truck but you run expedite loads. Do you maintain a log book as if you do the truck is engaged in commercial operations. You just might be playing...

    Driver Pay

You are underpaid for sure. On this website many fleet owners are looking for drivers in the classified section but probably 99% of them will require you to have a CDL unless it is a small cargo van.

Pro Driver or Steering Wheel Holder?

But it'simportant that some how you keep that driver from knowing your name and address as if he loses his job he may want to take revenge on you. Tough call but he needs to be reported as he probably has other incidents in his past.

    NFL Black out Policy

Sometimes teams do not sell out. This coming Sunday the Jaguars are playing the Tn Titans and 900 more tickets need to be sold by Friday to avoid a blackout. Why can't the Jaguars buy the tickets, give them away and then recoup the ticket sale revenue. Seems to me it would almost be a wash. They...
