I hauled 2 skids of "global warming" pamplets going from Fort Wayne, Indiana to North Carolina. Using my straight truck that gets 9 mpg. Thought that was pretty ironic :rolleyes: If they were really concerned about global warming, why not send it via E-mail

Here is the big question. Who is responsible if you happen to be overweight and the weight on the manifest is wrong? I assume I would still get a ticket? Or is the shipper responsible?

I don't have a CDL and own a straight truck, Does that mean I am not a professional driver :rolleyes:;):p

Not sure on the answer, but I know the weights always seem to be off. Usually the manifest is on the plus side ie 400lbs for a skid that weighs 200 I would hope they don't go off the manifested weight, because alot of places don't scale their skids and just estimate
