Just did a lil reading on that plant because Im not sure I ever seen it out there or if I did I just took it as some sort of Lilly.. Seems a few property owners are against seeding the waters to bring this plant back..Greasy wheel sometimes gets greased..Lets hope not in this case.

Looks like that vegetation could plug up your water intake real fast. Kinda look like Lilly pads with a different flower..Been stuck in Lilly pads before and wasnt a easy task to get out of with push poles. Glad to see your getting some time and use of the new boat.
