because we are talking about two totally different reasons for turning down loads. one has to do strictly with business. the other has to do with thinking that you should only have to run 1000 plus mile loads. like running short loads is beneath oneself.

now i never said take all small loads. but there is nothing wrong with a variety and sometimes that small one you did shows good workmanship and you get rewarded with a long one. there is also civil communication with dispatch when you have done a short one and wish not to do multiple short...
