Take it out...build some nice wrap around cabinets...or shelving. Ive seen some really neat looking stuff built into upper bunk areas. As a solo, I always wanted to cut the center section out of the lower bunk and slide a recliner in there :) then sleep in the upper bunk.

I totally and completely disagree. What you say would be true if...and only if...the team truck brings in twice as much money as the solo truck. Most don't. The solo driver may not get as many loads and he/she may not gross as much as the team, but the solo driver will get 100% of the driver...

I've seen the heat/lack of cooling mentioned a couple of times. It would be my opinion that skirts would have no more...or less... effect on cooling of the drive axle/axles than the factory fairings installed on a large number of new otr tractors. Also, aftermarket fenders have been available...
