Anyone who has been on here for any length of time and have read my post "My Hino Nightmare" knows that breakdowns happen, and it really doesn't just happen to certain brands. Although it is harder to find parts for Sprinters and Hino's. If I hadn't been in a lease with a replacement truck...

That's kinda what I was saying why spend Sprinter money on a cargo maxx that isn't gonna last quite as long as a Sprinter. Not to say that a person couldn't get 500K out of a Ford cargo maxx, some people probably have, but they are the exception rather than the rule.

Still out there, but too expensive to be practical. Guess the same could be said about the Sprinter....to each his own:)

What's redline? Most diesels its around 2700 to 3000. 2000 sounds high, great for warming it up on a cold morning though

I put velcro on the back of my Nextel phone/radio that works great for keeping it on the dash, but wasn't really keen on putting a strip of velcro on my Droid. The dash in my truck has a nearly vertical area, not like the shelf on your Sprinter

I have my GPS in the left bottom corner of the windshield very close to the dash. It doesn't block my vision at all. I'm left handed so it works for me:)

Oh BTW you are only American if you buy crappy American cars over other makes that have better quality:rolleyes: 40K Chevy Volt over a 30K Nissan Leaf for example

there's nothing wrong with 4 cyl gas if it's done right plenty of 4cyl with more power than a V8
