If I Knew Then What I Know Now....

Keep that first car. '77 Cutlass, black in black. It was a chick magnet, although I was usually chick repellent. LOL!! Keep, and buy more, Walmart stock that I bought when I was 19. Finish college, although I was working 55 hours a week while going. Actually TRY to have a relationship with...

    2004 Sprinter Limp Mode

Yeah, having a code only is only having about 10-15% of the info in some cases. Like the dreaded GM code that say your emission system is malfunctioning. That's about as useless a piece of info as possible. But a bad O2 sensor code is usually a money-saving piece of info. Buy the sensor, borrow...

    2004 Sprinter Limp Mode

Do Sprinters employ the OBD 2 system? If so, you might consider a $50 code scanner from AutoZone. Cheap investment that will probably pay for itself quickly if you turn ANY wrenches yourself.

Waiting for my shipper to combine 4 into 1, wrap it, band it and spit out some ppwk. Love the 15+ min detention. Especially at customer rates.

    batteries question

Don't know about the drier but I've leased and bought about 25-30 str8s over the years and 2 batteries were standard. Adding the 3rd was an option as I recall. At least in the Freightliner models I was dealing with.

    Self Protection

I like the restaurant idea. I do like the 24-hour walmarts since there's always someone that COULD keep an eye out. Some of them even employ private security in roving vehicles. Peace of mind. But, as of yet, my .357 hasn't ventured out of the safe at home except to go to the range with my...

I don't know how much is posted out there anymore on Sylectus. I filter my Sylectus load emails by the states I'm looking for loads in. I have to constantly change it, like a few times a day, but it cuts the email volume down by about 90-95%.

The other day I heard about an "old army trick" to help. Get a flexible metal hose, like one of those cheap dryer hoses. Crimp it around your exhaust pipe on your vehicle and a running vehicle. The warmth from the running vehicles exhaust will warm up the engine of the super-chilled vehicle...
