You must have a newer van...i remember the diesel alt started at over 800 cdn but by the time the van was over 5 years old it dropped to a couple hundred...I always carry a spare, bet you could find a comparable quality for 200...O'Reillys import direct brand shocked me, still have a 400,000...
Am I the only one who drives far enough off the highway to save 30 cents a gallon?
Picked up an hour from my house, got another call heading that way for a double, and after sleep a call exactly where I was parked heading back an hour from my house...guess I'm back in action
Just get a sprinter. Had a 2000 lb load and it was the smoothest ride in a truck I've ever had.
I prefer the American vans but shippers want what they want...
Replaced resistor, blower motor, cleaned contacts, checked all 3 fuseboxes, no blower even on high. Scan tool says short in blower stage 1. Any ideas before I start tearing parts out?
Back on the road, everyone's healthy enough. No runs tho, getting the vans little annoyances taken care of. Question: what does short to ground in blower stage 1 mean? New resistor, new motor, fuses ok, no blower speeds
Got your POD'S? Small claims court. Nothing has changed since the 70's when a carrier couldn't believe he got dragged into court and had to pay my father for a run he took. Be ready to switch companies, you'll get fired
No, I'm fine and so is my 18 year old daughter. unless you consider mentally unstable a problem
Things are looking up tho
And thanks the votes, it gave me a laugh
So I haven't been posting ( or working much ) need a bit of comedic relief for myself...sorry if I offend anybody, we're all ok and together and that's what matters...
My 12 year old got hit by a car last week. Thought she was OK, but seems she definitely has a concussion and possible brain...
Researching for a year and you're still going to drop 25k? Can't fault the choice of van, I was looking at a similar one...but 15k Canadian (about 11000) was to high a price to pay
Still liking the avg 22 mpg on my sprinter
If you have to buy newer maybe that 6.0 will make up for gas mileage...
