It is comments, from Phil, like the comment above, that, to me, make him insufferable. Kinda like junior high, when you got the "mine's bigger than yours" argument.

I've just put my name on the list to speak before CMPD(police) out reach meeting tomorrow night. I want them to know that I am interested in what is going on im my neighborhood. I will be talking about, mainly, public safety issues: Speeding on residential streets, passing stopped school...

I find it odd that you would interpret her statement that way. I was born right here in Charlotte, but if you were to ask about my "home country", the answer would be Scotland. My ancestors' were from Scotland; Obamas' were from Kenya. Where's the problem?
