The newer trucks with the DPF systems actually get worse mileage than some of the older trucks, I am actually quite happy with getting 8 to 9

In 1969 Volkswagen had the automatic stickshift in the Beetles, it was only a two speed though low and high. Yes, I know the Ultrashift is a manual, but unlike a tractor it doesn't have a clutch pedal and the shifter looks like a automatic.

I'm already liking the mileage I am getting. I received the truck with 305 miles on it and according to the trip mileage computer am getting an 8.5 mpg average. I've put an addition 300 on it in the last couple of days and it seems to be holding steady. This is a combination of city and...

That's pretty good mileage. My new truck is getting in the high 8's to 9's with the Ultrashift and that is with me driving normally, city/highway mix. If I slow down a bit and once the truck gets broken in it might increase from there. :) That's running 4.11 gears in the rear with an Eaton...

Although a manual straight truck gets better mileage than an automatic, If I drove a manual my knee would be killing me. That is why my new truck has the Eaton Ultrashift. no clutch pedal and gets near the mileage of a manual An automatic manual if that makes sense LOL

Nope, not picking on TJ at all, just stating that the 2010 seem to be problematic and also seems the dealers here don't carry the necessary parts to fix them quickly...

Only intelligent people are on EO, we are the pick of the litter. Seriously though, most of the people I've met at the expo were nice and seemed intelligent. Believe it or not there are alot of people of all ages that aren't computer literate, not just older people. I think most of us on here...
