If it meant my load was a GO, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'm good for 400 watts of inverted power 75' from the dash of my van. Generator in shop so I'm only good for inverter juice. Threw in a 50' reel just in case.

Carry your generator in. Or run an extension cord out to your power inverter. Unless it's one of the that require linking up to "Mama Base" to generate the load info for the move.

Yeah, we didn't get but about 5 minutes of that icy mix that froze. My next door neighbors even shoveled my driveway and sidewalk yesterday. It started snowing here about an hour ago. It's already coming down pretty heavy. Oh, I insulated my van yesterday. 1" foil backed foam in the channels between the supports. Then sheets on Masonite over it all.

Think I'll hang in Dayton through Monday. At least until all the snow stops and I've cleared it.

Home. Generator back in the shop. (Warranty) This time I started it up for them and showed them what it was doing. I guess I carry a LONG extension cord next week!!
