I feel for you. I drove for two different owners before becoming an owner, never had a hint of pay problems. Did you have signed contracts with these people?

If you have 1000 miles and work one day sounds like someone's dh 1000 miles back home. Dh is dh before or after a load. So 50 cents a mile no thanks

Much simplier than that for vans. Total dh and loaded miles and all pay, then figure rate per mile. There is no difference between dh and loaded in my book.
