Lets Remember September Locatoons & More

No, got it from europarts. $24 errr times 2  Good news- I got it running, everything looks good, ready to go back into service. Bad news- I found another unrelated problem, not going back in service...yet

Lets Remember September Locatoons & More

Well the easy part is over, now just have to get it running... This fuel line I ordered is a exact match for my 2002 Sprinter. On my first purchase, I could not get the end to go into the transfer pump and broke the plastic fitting using to much force. I reordered another, but ran in to the...

Lets Remember September Locatoons & More

Will be making a 2nd attempt to replace my fuel line today when it arrives. Providing I don't break the plastic fitting again  Got the new alternative fuel filter in place and ready to hook up. Noticed that not only does it not have the water it fuel sensor at the bottom, the drain...

Lets Remember September Locatoons & More

Good to know. Seems like the water in fuel sensor caused more problems then it fixed  And I failed in my main goal not to screw up this project :dash2: I was so freaking close to completion. Even removed parts I said i wasn't going to do to gain better access to the low pressure...

Lets Remember September Locatoons & More

Today's Goal...Don't screw up this project  1st up will be replacing the fuel line that runs from the fuel filter to the low pressure pump. Looks pretty simple, provided I can access the low pressure pump without removing any other parts that may be in the way. It was a rainy day...

Load One rolling strong in Sept!

I have the pop out screen also. I just run it under the home faucet. I was expecting a chore the first time (I could hardly see through it), but it clean up really easy. I don't let it get that bad anymore ;) Only problem I have is forgetting it's a pop out screen

That's pretty interesting to know. I always wondered what was up with that pyramid. I have a local much smaller scale one by my home. Got me wondering more about it now :D

When I was at the J in Oklahoma City, I was shocked by the number of people sleeping in their cars. I asked the counter girl if this was normal. She said they try to chase them off, but they hide o_O When I think of Oklahoma, homeless capital doesn't come to mind. I guess they have not...

LOL, that's for sure. Another found memory of that trip. Grandpa did smoke, with the window up. I ended up getting my leg burned as he was aiming for the ash tray and missed  Always wondered where that scare came from

This time the Gremlin was mostly me  On a similar note: One of my 1st cars was a AMC Gremlin. It was my grandparents car. I remember taking a 5 hr trip once with them, I sat in the front middle as the car for maxed out with our stuff. Still trying to figure out how that worked...

And it continues, but I'm learning so much :dash2: Finally figured out and found what I need. A fuel Line Seal Ring. I was just going to get that, then remembered part of the connector is also broken, plus it's really old. So I ordered a whole new fuel line with connectors. I didn't call...

Well with my Luck lately, this just figures... Finally got around (and remembering) to replace my iphone screen protector, which had become very scratched and gouged up (glad I had one). Grabbed the package that should have had 2 more in it, any of course the package is empty o_O No clue where...

Thanks, I'll give that a try. I was able to confirm that it is (A) that is leaking. Sucking a lot of air, so both may be contributing. Yeah, once I found out I needed to put the old drain valve on the new fuel filter. No wonder it would not start the first time

Dang temperamental Sprinter. Coming up short on the O-ring hunt. Either to thin or to thick. Won't even start without the exact match in. Must be some stupid special order MB part. And of course after every attempt I have to go through the whole priming again [emoji849] I think I remember why I...
