I assume you found your problem then. :D You said something about leaving a 1" board in place, and that doesn't seem like a lot of board/wood to support the load. It might be best if you where there with various shims to insure/check you get the best piece of wood in place. Just my opinion but...

The ones I currently use are stored on the floor because sure as sheet the fork lift driver will bury them along with my extra bars.. They are getting in rought shape now and keep hoping someone will run over them.

I believe I have heard that accuride has lug nuts the will both center the wheel and drum???? Mine only center the wheel. What ever style you use make sure its a good grade product and fits properly.

Regardless of how you balance your tires its still a good idea to use centering lug nuts on a hub piloted wheel. As one of the articles state there is a gap between the wheel and stud. The centering lug nut takes up that gap and centers the wheel to the hub. I use 3 per wheel and leave them in...

Ya need to add the transporters with the pick-up trucks now.. Talked to 2 of them yesterday picking up auto freight for a carrier. One brought rv trailer down and other hauled a boat and taking auto freight back up. Both loads would have fit nicely in my truck or someone's van.
