Buying an used Sprinter might be a pain in the wallet. I'd rather go for a used E-350 within 150k miles, replace the roof with a high top one and that vehicle, if you take good care of it, will last more than you expected.

A very unpleasant situation... I had once a run for tiny WI carrier, took many weeks til I got my paycheck. They were constantly lying, they even forgot what they previously lied to me. Only when I told them that I'll contact my lawyer, they finally sent the paycheck.

The reviews were mostly favorable... of course, none of them were from expediters, but people using them around the house (or tent if on vacation)...

How about Black Max from Sam's Club? Any opinion? They say it has a Honda engine, while from what I read on internet, the performances are about the same like Powerhouse, only the price is different: $299 for the 3550W generator.

Which truck stop does not allow cargo vans?

I think it would be much better if the truckstops were offering a power outlet for each parked truck or van. I wouldn't mind to pay, let's say ten bucks a day for heating my truck. This way the idling might be reduced practically to zero, considering the money one throws away for the fuel burned...

The first ProMaster (now 120,000 mi) did it four times so far, the second van, beside three bulbs within two weeks, I had to change the whole light part. And as you complain about the squeaking brakes, so does the second. From the very first day. I took it to several Ram shops and they claim...

It's been been quite a while since I quit driving for peanuts, so of course, my question was not where I can find carriers that pay 60-70 cpm. Nor 80. And yes, to bad that Load 1 doesn't take Sprinters anymore... been trying to get there since Nov '13...
