Just remember, a 50 MPH transit average is widely accepted for vans on direct loads. Leave some buffer and nap enough to arrive safely. You're needed alive!!
I really like Bill's "set aside funds" that he listed earlier. His checks have been flowing in for months now. That first hump is hard, and he would agree I think, that one can't lose sight of the fact that it is a business. Problems happen. Engines go. Spindles go. Etc.
Planning is surviving!!
Bob, we love it when you guys wake up to loads!! You may even get to meet Bill in Denton, but God willing, he's long gone before you drop Monday morning!
Rest assured, Bill, if it fits on you you're first out!! That's how we roll!!
We don't need haters.
Our guys rock it, hard!!
If they're not happy, we are unaware.
If they become unhappy I would hope they would discuss it with us.
If we can't "fix it" I would hope they would find a carrier that fixes it.
Our guys are on the TEAM!!
It's not BS. They're only a notch...
Turtle would know for sure, I'm guessing. But you wouldn't be posting anything damaging, I don't think.
And of course we only see your total revenue and loaded miles, per Google door to door. I always prefer the real-world numbers of all miles. Personal factors and preferences always affect them...
That's great Jordan!!!! And how many weekdays did you just sit in Memphis? How many DH miles did you eat?
That's a good move! ;)
God knows our guys DH too. It happens. I will say that most of the DH mile % is when we just can't snag them one heading toward home when that's the target. I...
So, making virtually identical CPM on all miles as when at TS but getting a lot more miles? Excellent.
Maybe our mantra should be......
"DH Less %, Run smaller freight, Drive more paid miles, Make more"
A little wordy. LOL!!
You have a Sprinter. Are you on the L1 waiting list?
Should that say....?
"Make More per loaded mile, Drive Less loaded miles". LOL!!
All good. OVM is happy.....now.
That's great!!!
That's what this is all about! And everyone has different needs. That's for sure!
Yet, strangely enough our guys say they are making somewhere between more and a lot more per "all miles" than when they were at tier prior carriers.
Getting $1.20 per mile is great until you only run 700 miles a week.
Seems you tune has changed quite a but in the last couple of months. Sounds...
