Busy here this morning. Our Lab caught and killed a ground hog, which in of itself is not unusual it's his third. Problem is he trots all over the yard with the critter in his mouth showing off. The other two pups would head the other way as if to say, look what he did..... Had to call...

I used to make a lot of money from running shorties. Dispatch always knew how many hours I had left and that I would go out of service at the 4 hour mark to do my 10. Didn't always result in multiple loads, but by communicating I made sure dispatch knew they had a resource available. Drivers...

I'm not surprised they didn't respond. That is one reason I always sent a freeform. Clearly, dispatchers are not following protocol and resetting board positions since a driver with a running clock is more likely to cover a shorty than one who has full hours. Improper use of resources IMO.

I would send the mac message that advises dispatch of your hours remaining. Then a freeform message stating your board position should not have changed because of the shorty and request they reset your position. If you don't get a response, call and make sure you note the name of who you talk to.
