Yes that happened to us also and we received a whole $21.00 more! to haul a Hazmat chemical load. But what the heck.. FedEx requires you have Hazmat..I don't believe it's an option.

When we did go to Canada (haven't been in a while) we hand them our Fast Card, Drivers License, and Birth Certificate. Now we have our Passport too. In case they want it.

Yeah call FedEx Custom Critical. They will hire you if you aren't a criminal. They also have loads that pay great compared to .86 per mile. Sometimes loads pay $2.00 or more per mile.. We hauled the 53' trailer for FedEx and our best paying load was $4500.00 more or less. So yes, you can...

Update for Georgia.. it's all about the money.. Yes you have to pay sales tax unless title is in individual name. If title is in company or LLC name you are required to pay sales tax even though you will be leasing to a carrier with full Icc authority. Only if you have your own common...

We had our Yorkie with us for awhile and we went across the border with him. Never had a problem but I did have shot records from the vet with me.
