EO Nation - What's up tonight?

I guess this is off topic since it isn't tonight anymore... Anyway, I'm at the Fargo Petro and I'm on hold with their customer service. I don't seem to be getting all the shower credits I should with the Ultra Expediter card. It is supposed to be a shower for every 50 gallons, right?

Nahh... We're boring! We'd never use deer camp to do something like drinking too much beer! That would just be down right irresponsible. I'm on my way to West Fargo, N.D. From shorts to snow. I love my job.

I didn't read it as bashing, he's just saying he wants to be paid to live in a van. Is his idea of what "being paid" is more than the market will bear? Could be...

The Most Annoying Song in The World!

Gary Cooper signed for my freight yesterday. Any guesses as to what song I couldn't out of my head the rest of the day? The most annoying song is any mediocre song that gets stuck on a continuous loop.

    Panther safety exaggerate

There's what they could do, and then there's the system they have in place. Other carriers offer the load "pre-swapped", so to speak, Panther just chooses to do it differently. I started my expediting career with a carrier that would handle the split before the offer went out. So, I'd accept the...

    All State Express

I'm not sure where you read that, but I don't think it was in this thread. He plainly states that he can afford it. He just complained about the hold back. Why are some making the assumption that he wouldn't work as hard as anyone else? Seems a stretch from what he's said here.

    If you had a chance/opertunity

Not really that big a deal in a straight truck. On rare occasion, a bit of a hassle. Now, I have been in situations where I was really, really glad I wasn't in T/T.

They aren't the only company with the 3 week cycle, but the others I know of that have it, have it in lieu of an escrow. Both is a bit much. So, it sounds like they didn't give you the list of deductions until they had you up there. I can see why that would leave a bad taste in your mouth. There...

    Apportioned Plates

I was told by the IRP office in Mich that it goes on the back of my straight truck. I had a mounting plate, with light, put on at a trailer shop. Excellent support.

starting up, looking for drivers, questions

The way this reads, it sounds like you're saying one point is worth using your house. LOL... C'mon... Really?? If you can get a truck for 6% that's an excellent rate. Also, 600,000 would be an early overhaul on a class 8 truck.

    South Dakota scale?

Who's "they"? Sounds like it'll depend on who's working when you cross. When I was at Thompson one of our vans was chased down by someone working the Tecumseh scale. The guy brought him back, did an inspection and told him he needed to stop when it's open. Someone from the Ministry sent a letter...
