I don't do New England at all, to hard for my carrier to get us back out, I stick to the mid- west and Mid- south.

My carrier is a pro and getting less than 300 mile runs, and an occasional 400+ mile load. I'm at the back end of this career. Been pounding the highways since 1979, so I'm good with short runs. I also have another source of income. That keeps me moving also.

That's the way we do it here, it all goes out and very little comes back. I normally don't venture to far out, so I'm home most nights,
