Son, you need to do a little more research on Mustangs. Your numbers sound right for 1973; turn the clock back about four years, to 1968-69, to the days of Boss 302s (290 HP), Mach 1s (300+ HP), and the mighty 428 Cobra Jet. Vehicles worthy of great respect even from a then Chevy-head like me...

The "junker" is a disguised Malibu (2000ish); I find it strange that Chevrolet would disrespect one of its own vehicles just to sell its replacement. You'd think they woulda used a Ford Taurus or Dodge Intrepid as a "blandmobile" :rolleyes:
