Thought my XM radio fixed its self, so I did return the other one I bought (which I didn't like anyways). That lasted about a day, before the antenna connection problem started up again. Eventually, couldn't get nothing. So after getting more frustrated, I bought the one I really wanted... I...

Leaving town with peoples money or just walking away from a business that went under? My home town paper occasionally gives me a item interest. This one I had to do a double take. I know the person involved, been in his home, dated his daughter [emoji6] Personally, I don't think this with...

    The cost of staying warm

I used to strap my tank behind the cab partition wall in the cargo area. When in use, the tank was always outside of vehical. Fear of leaks or blowing up? Was always paranoid about that, hence I got a Espar as soon as I could [emoji6] Sent from my P00I using EO Forums mobile app

That's pretty interesting. Never thought about that. I do deal with a lot of dust and debris at ground level. I have a extra duct tube that came with it. Thinking that might be a good easy way to get out of the dust zone [emoji6] Sent from my P00I using EO Forums mobile app

remember as soon as you d salt your unit

I'm pretty leery now of blue beacon for my Sprinter after past experiences. Their high pressure and acid (or what ever they use) usually does more harm then good. I need more of a gentle wash, so I don't leave with just the frame

The biggest thing I didn't like about the mummy bag, was although my body was toasty, my face was still pretty cold. Started wearing a sky mask which helped, but really, that's not how I want to be sleeping [emoji6] Sent from my P00I using EO Forums mobile app

    The cost of staying warm

You run yours a lot warmer and longer then mine [emoji6] If needed during the day, I run it at 62-65F, at night I'll normally bump it up to 68F or leave at 65F depending on temps. Only once so far have I turned it up to 70F this winter, and still ended up turning it back down to 68F mid sleep...

Yeah, I used to use a good mummy bag for winter. Very warm, but way too restrictive for me. Then switched to using my regular style fall sleeping bag after espar for a while. Switching to real bedding has made a huge difference in comfort for me. Sent from my P00I using EO Forums mobile app

New Year in Load One January 2018

I'm always a little paranoid that I might sleep through a wake up alarm for a morning delivery. Usually i'll set 2 phone alarms, sometimes the QC alarm also. Well, this morning I woke up on my own, checked my watch. 7:59am Crap, I slept through 2 alarms and have 1 min. To make delivery! I...

Warning Drivers please read this. RIP. Young Expediter.

After bringing back on board my ultra low detecting CO monitor, along with my current one for the last couple of weeks, I've had no new alarm triggers from it until yesterday. I stopped to make dinner at a J. Another van parked two whole spots next to me and fired up its generator. About...

    The cost of staying warm

I was in the same boat. I offered to pay half for a espar. Owner declined, but did go half on a big buddy heater which I did get to keep. I still use it when at home, so that worked out. Sent from my P00I using EO Forums mobile app

If your just running the espar or small occasional inverter, one should be fine. Some people only run it off the starter battery, which I would not recommend. I run a lot of power suckers, so I have 4 batteries [emoji6] Sent from my P00I using EO Forums mobile app

    The cost of staying warm

While doing my spreadsheet number crunching for a straight truck and semi, The fuel cost alone for idling is insane compared to having a espar. It would pay for itself in 1-2 months. Even if I wasn't paying for fuel, as a owner, I would be damed if I had a truck without one or something...

Espar was definitely my best #1 add on. Big buddy heater did a nice job with much lower entry cost when I started until I could get a Espar. Sent from my P00I using EO Forums mobile app
