May - be Locations & More

Big exciting plans for the day. Go to the store to stock up on some food, drop the van off at the shop, walk home a couple of blocks, then resume my vegetative state

    Have a nagging misspelled word?

I thought I had that word down, as I tend to use it a lot in posting. But after doing a quick check, I definitely do not, as spell check corrects it so fast I never noticed I was spelling it wrong all these years. Talk about reinforcing poor spelling  --according to a survey reported...

May the Power of One be with you

For some reason I thought I paid twice as much to have my axle leak "fixed" last time. So I was didn't really want to take it back to my local guy a few blocks from my home. But after surveying my repair options and actual cost, going to give him another crack at it, and have him do the exhaust...

    Fuel for Thought Customer Camping

That seems rather bizarre for the contractors to hang out like that. Unless you are in some really remote area, I can't image that even being a consideration. And then only with permission, and man don't make a mess like they did. When I had my roof replaced for 3 or 4 days, they wouldn't even...

May the Power of One be with you

Well, the good news of today was my QC issue has been fixed :) The bad news is my right rear axle is leaking (again), and I need a new exhaust system  So, back at home to take care of this ;)

    NBA Fan(s)

Not a big fan either. Last time I was into it was back in my Detroit Pistons Bad Boy days ;) If I had to pick, it would be MJ.

Best way to get class B CDL?

That is a good way to get it. But...But...But, being a sub sucks :D Been there, did that  Picking up was pretty easy, just look for kids lol. But dropping off, a bit more challenging....Stop! ;)

    Have a nagging misspelled word?

100 Most Often Mispelled Misspelled Words in English Have a nagging misspelled word? Mine is diesel. As much as I use and write this word, it should be so simple to remember. But I constantly screw it up  A close 2nd (although getting better) is the word maintenance ;) Some common...

    Bull or No Bull

Not sure what makes up a high performance Transit, but was it a high top diesel? Actual fuel/miles calculated or dash read out? Best I've ever been able to get in my diesel Sprinter was in the 28 's with a lot of rear end wind help ;) Could be a one time anomaly, if the driver maintains that...

    High School shooting--again

I don't know what's going on. Too much media attention putting the thoughts in kids heads, video games, a whole lot of mental illness? All I do know is it doesn't seem to be slowing down. And now a middle school kid, thought it was a good option :( Male student in custody after shooting at...

My 4 inch Sprinter speakers decided to remind me it's time to replace them (again), by sounding more crappy then normal  This would be my 3rd replacement since the factory originals. A tin can and string would have been a improvement over those in the older models ;) Did my usual...

Interesting. Probably would not like it. I'm not into those hood covers either. Actually, for being 16 yrs old, the hood is in really good shape. Quick stone chip touch ups now and then and it looks pretty nice. Especially after getting the bugs off :D Guessing my hood painting thought was more...

    Accept Load Calculator

Not sure what the DH cost is based on. But I know it don't cost me $24.66 to go 20 miles ;) But if the prior above mentioned things are fixed, not a bad tool :) How practical in a split second decision world? IDK. Dispatch is pretty good with a calculator if you ask them. But if you were just...

Van finished :) The old girl cleaned up pretty nice. I should of had him repaint the hood while he had it off. I'm sure it would have looked better then my touch ups :D Just out of curiosity, I'm having him look into a couple of other possible cosmetic fixes
