That is because most companies keep them in service till they are junk Penske, Ryder, Budget rent a truck, are good sources. Otherwise most will keep them well into the 200 to 300k mark

I also said depending on the truck, I realize there are truck out there that ride on a pilllow. The run of the mill class 7 expeditor truck Hino,Freighliner M2, International with no air ride and leaf spring suspension will beat you up!!! I also know people who are doing quite well in vans...

It's a longshot but you might try looking at craigslist for a mechanic. Not many options on Sunday, other than chain places, Sears etc.
