A small carrier usually will not have more than one truck in a given area, so I would guess they want what they have in service unless of course it's just a couple weeks out of service.

I've worked at several well known expedite carriers, none had a problem with extended time off. I can see where it could affect small fleets adversely.

81 degrees when I left home monday, 26 with a wind chill of nine now. Weather and freight you know what your gonna get.

The lights are fine if aimed correctly. I have the biggest issue with portable work zone lighting and cops on the shoulder with super bright flashing lights on.
