Steering wheel jumpy from new brakes?

We had new brakes put on the steers yesterday and I noticed after we picked up the truck that the steering wheel is quite jumpy during hard braking. Such as coming off the interstate onto the ramp. Is it common for the brakes to need to wear in a little bit? The drums were not resurfaced.

    Living in a truck

We do not enjoy this lifestyle. We would much rather be home and waking up in our own beds everyday. (My wife more so than me). We do it solely to earn money and to be able to take the time off that we require for our other interests. We look forward to the day (about 3.5 years from now) when we...

    Mailbox at T.A.

We were told by the manager at a Flying J that the postal service was removing the blue mailboxes from the truck stops. The reason: Too much transient traffic. ?????

We agree with you on the Qualcomm issue Phil. No micro management or phone calls or QC messages while on a short run or a cross country run. We are expected to be professionals and are treated accordingly.

    Which is better

Depends on what carrier you are leased to. In my opinion, 60% to the driver plus 100% of fuel surcharge is the better deal for the driver. Just make sure you have plenty of money for fuel. And "Welcome to the forums".

    Load 1!

I would skip reading them if they were in the Load 1 carrier forum or if the thread title was more specific about it's contents. When I saw a thread entitled "Load 1" I opened it expecting to find some new or interesting information about the company.

    Load 1!

I don't think that anyone that posted in this thread is jealous or a hater. I think Load 1 is a great company and that John Elliott is an awesome CEO for interacting on EO the way he does. But, I don't think it is necessary to start a new thread everyday or two proclaiming how wonderful it is...

    Load 1!

I agree Load 1 is a great company, but is it really necessary to start a new thread almost everyday to say how great a company they are to work for? When I see a thread entitled Load 1 I hope to see something interesting and new about the company. (I'm sure I will catch some flak for this post...

    Life.

Go for it Zane. My first bike was a Hodaka 100b in 1973. If I had tried any of the jumps you guys do on that bile I think the forks would have bent and the gas tank would have imploded. Good luck to you.

    LRT Expedite closes it's doors.

Anyone going into any type of business needs to learn that the owner of the company gets paid last. If there is nothing left for them at the end of the month, tough. It's not the fault of the employee's, contractors, suppliers, insurers, etc. Many businesses fail because the owner paid...
