I can tell you why rates are so low. Its not fuel.
The only one I have heard of lately questioning age is American Axle. Then it was just the age of the box. 10 years & newer. It's funny though, when they put the loads out for bid they say nothing about it till you get to the guard shack. Then they want proof.- Dynamite 1

That's why we run for a carrier that pays on % and is totally transparent has to what they charge the customer. On % it makes no sense for the carrier not to get as much as possible for the load !!- Dynamite 1

Uber trucking?
Shippers use to call carriers direct, or they only had one broker they used and they had a list of preferred carriers they had to use. Then it seems all went crazy. Yes he did. We were a little put out remembering to do it monthly but both Fed & IL are set up on line and it takes 10 minutes and it is done. Unemployment is done quarterly and you dont pay it all year just until you meet the % required. Now are personal tax is paid at year end and we just...- Dynamite 1
