Re: Disgruntled FEDEX CC st8 truck drivers.....Where are they gonna go?? Landstar??
Better than E-1. Comparable to Panther.
Gotta remember, "It's all about the miles".
Re: Disgruntled FEDEX CC st8 truck drivers.....Where are they gonna go?? Landstar??
FedEx has changed policy and then switched it back.
Just recently they added load acceptance percentage into the dispatch system and then when it did not have the desired affect removed it.

Both carriers mentioned are great companies. Are either of those two carriers excepting trucks into there fleets? Will they be able to quickly absorb them and keep them moving? It is not just a learning curve...

What do you like or dislike about the new flat rate pay plan?
I like,
All tolls paid
Hazmat pay
Dry run pay
All miles paid (no more 50 free deadhead)
I dislike,
Minimum load pay (I don't think it pays enough)
Deadhead pay rate (it will prevent long deadheads but is better than relocation pay)...
I received some more info from the special number we can call.
All accessorials will still be paid, lift gate, pallet jack, labor, etc.
Branding bonus will still be paid.
