From what I see out here the number of yellow cubes out here has dropped while the number of large unmarked vans has rose dramatically. For the op to start this thread off with yellow cubes questions is somewhat misguided.

Imagine trying to split that with a driver in a van your maintaining. Honestly the last thing this business needs is more vans. At this point it's kind of like trying to extinguish a fire with gasoline.

A quick read of there Web site says they don't know much about today's expedite market or vans. I feel sorry for the person who doesn't know much about this business and ends up spending their money on one of those.

That looks just about useless.

Maybe they can't make you get the insurance through them but they also don't have to find you loads.
