    Tesla Power wall in Sprinter

I'm not sure how 12 hours runtime competes with a generator that basically can run for days.

    Winter

I've never had a problem winter driving in a sprinter. I was at a shipper with a snow covered ramp last winter. I made it up in a couple shots. A guy there at the same time with ram had way more trouble. Probably more to do with good rubber and driving technic than anything else.

Cargo Van Navigating the Transportation Industry

Yes signing on with a carrier is how most of us do it. The various loads to choose from isn't exactly how your wording made it sound. They might offer you a load after a few hours or days sitting. You can say no but it could be a few hours or even days before your next opportunity. Say no to...

So... What is the Story on Laredo...?

Those truck stops down there could make good money renting PO Boxes.

Portable Generator deals/for sale? Best a/c unit?

I have the Ryo I in storage as a backup. It was a decent running gen. It powered my 13,500 rooftop. The pull cord did break after a few months and it took ages to get the replacement part.

    The Libertarians.... spoilers

I heard him for about 5 minutes on an interview one day. It only took 3 minutes to figure out he's a bit of an idiot. I remember nothing about the interview other than having that impression.

So... What is the Story on Laredo...?

I still say yes to Laredo at times. I just ask for a rate that is rare to achieve these days. I'm also done doing ones that a person is only gonna have about 4 hours sleep time.

    1 BIG question

Net, probably 20 to 30 grand if you don't have major repairs. If you work all but a few days a month, get lucky and find the right company that works for you right out of the box. If you want health insurance, have a mortgage or anything else people consider normal there isn't much left.

    1 BIG question

Keep your desk job. There really isn't enough money in vans to split two ways. Out of 5 vans you would probably have two empty at anytime because of Driver turnover.

Does low paying loads affect you're attitude/work ethic?.

If you accept the load you run it like any other load.

    Considering trying local

Someone is going to tell you ceva. Others will say local airfreight companies probably both worth talking to.

So... What is the Story on Laredo...?

I don't think I ever deadheaded out of Laredo. If you can get a long load by the end of your pay period you'll probably have a better profit week than if you dh 600 miles. Imho
