Are You Enjoying Your Sprinter ?

The speedometer is off, but in the other direction. If the needle shows 70 he is actually doing 67 or thereabouts.

Are You Enjoying Your Sprinter ?

Marty, If you want to get better fuel mileage you really need to slow down. You can't race these things and expect good mileage. 15 is way too low. Sent from my PC36100 using EO Forums

    Scaling

Looks like VA is one of them. Also, when you go in and out of Florida, pull into those agricultural inspection stations. I didn't until I was pulled over and told that I needed to. Most of the times they wave you through, but sometimes they ask what you carry.

    Legal or NOT?

Before you talk to an attorney take it as high up to panther as you can. If they don't do anything then talk to an attorney. Sent from my PC36100 using EO Forums

    Changing Times in Expediting.

Yes, I have seen a few overloaded sprinters. It is scary. My sprinter can legally carry 3200 lbs since I don't have a bunk or anything else in it except me and some clothes. However, I rarely do over 2000 lbs, unless it is paying extremely good. Most of my loads have been 1000 lbs or less. 450k...

Wal-Mart, and Prescriptions on the Road

I don't use meds, but I wonder... How do you do that without a membership? They don't let you in at the door without a Sam's card. Posted with my Droid EO Forum App

    Anyone need a Van driver.

Oh, I missed that. Thought it was a manual, not autoshift. Like you said, he just has to use the clutch when he starts and when he stops, nothing to it. Some people just don't wanna. Has he at least try it once? You know, like, find out how hard it is, and then say he cant do it? I think I know...

Exactly what I thought. If he wants to work, he would be willing to be trained to drive a stick. Posted with my Droid EO Forum App

    Fun with deputies

Well, I would like to see the herd thinned in the van division, and it will happen if vans become regulated. But then, the problem that we will be facing is that we don't have a DOT approved sleeper. And we won't be able to afford a hotel room after each 11 hours of driving. Posted with my...

    Espar time of year

Had to use mine last week in Louisville, KY. I got mine in 2005 I think. Paid for itself by now in fuel costs and engine wear from not idling many times over.

Do you use a Fuel Supplement

I stick with what has worked for me so far. No fuel additive at all. Never had a gelling problem yet, and I drove in temperatures down to -5 if I remember right. Now, if I have to go lower than that, I will add something. Have 450000 miles on my Sprinter. Now, for improving the lubricity of...

    A sweet tip

Once I delivered an electric motor to a PurinaOne dog food plants. They had to shut the plant down and were so happy when I showed up with the motor 4 hours earlier than scheduled. They gave me a baseball cap with their name on it. I remember it not because of the gift, but because of their...

They hope to find a desperate person that needs to make his/hers truck payment, or another one that needs to go that direction and would have deadheaded towards there anyways, or someone who is tired of waiting in Laredo for who knows how many days etc. As for me, I would not have taken such...

    R.I.P. Steve Jobs

My first computer was a Sinclair ZX Spectrum. 64 kB of memory, running at 3.5 Mhz. No disk drive, just a regular tape recorder and tapes. Those were the days, but we had fun with them.
