I haven't run anything diesel in a long time. Back in the day Power Service was always used, that or a mix of 60% #2 and 40% #1 depending on the number of degrees below zero.

Wouldn't hurt to use a diesel additive like Power Service or Howes every time you fill the tank. In days gone by in northern tier states #1 could be found at the fuel pumps.
