    I want a Job, but Need Help/Advice

I'll answer this for you. I drove a van for about 10 years then I went solo in a straight about 3 years ago. I really like not needing to drive over 11 hours. I really like not driving more than 600 miles straight through. I really like not competing with 15000 other vans that everybody and...

I need a sprinter mechanic in the Kansas area. No dealerships. All recommendations appreciated.

I haven't heard that, but usually when someone deletes the dpf, they delete all of them: dpf, def, egr, swirl valves. As a side note, I wonder if the 2.1 liter 4 cylinder even has swirl valves. The v6 is the one you hear about swirl valve issues. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

The vehicle is tuned, which I suspect has a dpf/def delete. No ESP oil required any more. Any 5w40 oil will do at this point. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

2016. If I had to guess, no dealers because the sprinter has been 'tuned'.

More than half of what you mention here is of no consequence at all. But hey, I'm happy that it works for you. I know what works for me. I truly enjoy keeping double of my earnings for the same amount of work. My new slogan: Drive less, keep more.

Total freedom comes at a huge price. The benefits of giving up the total freedom far far outweigh the inconvenience. Let's just say that after 3 years in the straight the only regret I have is that I didn't switch sooner. I might go back to a van when I retire since I will not need to make money...

Haven't gotten a load from TN office this year, but I am going to pay attention when I do.

I noticed that most of my loads if not all from the TN office do not show up on the app as a green pin.

When I get a new computerized offer I hear the app beeping first, then the phone rings. I answer the phone, put it on speakerphone and immediately fire up the app. I end up accepting the offer on the app, but the phone call is still going, telling me to press 1 to accept or 2 to decline. Then I...

You don't need to take the front end apart for the belt and tensioner on the sprinter. I have done it on the road one time and a few times at home. 30 min if you are slow. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

The only thing missing in the history is the all miles rate that is displayed in the actual offer. Other than that, perfect. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

Different strokes for different folks. I lasted one week there. The phrase 'at least you are running' didn't work for me.

On the subject of temperature, very warm here in TN. 54 today, we had days in the 60s last week and this weekend. But darn, I am tired of rain and more rain. Today the sun peeked through a bit, but now back to cloudy, getting ready for more rain the rest of the week. Sent from my VS995 using...

    Cargo van making strange noise.

Reading this thread reminds me how thankful I am that I had a Sprinter. 790k miles on it, never had an alignment done, and of course the wheel bearings are still original to this day. I had to change the driveshaft once though. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

No bills or obligations, simple life style. Expediting financially viable?

14hrs driving for cheap, then wait for the next 2-3 days then do it all over again. It seems to me that you are going to do this no matter what we say. If you really want to expedite, get into a straight truck. Yes, a bit more regulation, so you won't be driving like a fool, money will be...
