Evidently very little. Still looking for new owner., Funny thing, 13 years later I’m still making payments. Why is a divorce so expensive ? ‘Cause it’s worth it !

I keep seeing things blamed on autocorrect., Makes me think of the one poster that every time something stupid happens to one of his trucks, his “ helper” always did it.

How Has Electronic Logging Changed the Trucking Industry?

WOM touches on something that bothered me. At my first carrier I might get $1.80 to carry 200 lbs but a B unit might get .80 for the same Load. I never took a B unit load until I gave them all a crack at it. I moved to a % carrier that would give whoever hauled it the $1.80.

Pew Research.... Obama was the best.

What ??? How is it hard to accept the results, regardless if they’re right or wrong ? Now you lost me. That’s why I avoid the soapbox. Incidentally, I don’t have an opinion either way.

How Has Electronic Logging Changed the Trucking Industry?

Will ? Won’t? Probably won’t. The need isn’t there. Only us that competed with them see the need. The smartest thing for a straight to do is get a reefer, a gate, or certifications so you don’t have to even consider the cheap freight. Let them knock themselves out.

How Has Electronic Logging Changed the Trucking Industry?

Can a van do as much damage as a TT ? Sure. If a van fell asleep and took out my wife and kids would I say “Thank God they didn’t get hit by a TT “? I’ve always thought any vehicle, any size, hauling freight for hire should be regulated. It’d sure thin the herd.

    Mechanical Ford transit owners

I heard a comedian lobbying to change the name porta-John’s to porta-Jim’s. He thought people would feel better about him if he could spout off “I spent two hours in the Jim this morning” or “I’m going to the Jim right after dinner .”

    Hello from Las Vegas

Some people say it’s not real Trucking. It is. Not as hard as we had it back in the 60’s with 2 stick transmissions, no power steering, before reliable ac. As you navigate through NYC, or across a frozen interstate if only to find an almost safe place to ride out the storm, you’ll feel like a...

    Hello from Las Vegas

Rags, some of the best straight teams couldn’t make it in TT. So, they’ll tell you they didn’t like it. Which is okay. These people are just avoiding that embarrassing first step. Seems like a smart move to me.
