If it's a Mbe motor prepare to spend lots , just the cost of 1 injector changed is over 1500.00 Mbe parts are costly I know !!

My .02 is stay away from the Mbe unless it's very low miles cummin is best in that truck the cat was the replacement for the Mbe and the cummins is the replacement for the cat ! And they're not interchangeable . The price is a little high just my .02

Great idea if you still have enough thread left clean it real good and finish wiping the treads with alcohol let dry and use lok-tite on the reducer Good luck.

On a side note save the old pan sell it for scrap and buy lunch, your wallets gonna be shy for a while, as these Mbe motors get older the parts get costlier!

That oil pan is about 1200.00 not cheap and hard to find its just a very thick casting with a steel plug threaded I'd recommend a new pan or if your in need of one I have a junk m2 I'm selling parts off of and it has a pan on it still . I'm not sure if the treads are cut in the aluminum or there...

I hope that's not the case, that would certainly drive me up the wall my tolerance for sitting makes me crazy sleeping all the time tired me out

I found this small core it's about 5" sq and 2-3 inches thick with a 4" boxer fan attached to it, I can fabricate an insulated box to house it and have an inlet adapter and a hose output for the heat to the sleeper, McGiver is always thinking, happens when I can't sleep. Nope that won't work...

Same applies you can find all weights online just add them up and do the math, I'd guess around 24k vehicle weight, but that really depends on the refer box weight, and that railgate on it!
