The carriers that practice" a truck on every corner" probably has some kind of formula....and no...just because they are putting trucks on does not mean there is a surplus of work....
Keep in mind these types of carriers really don't care how many QUALITY loads you get, they only care how many...
Great post...I too am RIGHT there when the forklift operator is at work....I stand between him and mt van to make sure he slows down...at times I too will remind him I own the truck...I learned the hard way...also NEVER load or unload ON the ramp....either do it at the bottom or back all the way...
I think it is because news wise the UAW is a high profile union...then there is the civil servants...same as when a bad cop gets caught...it rots the whole barrel..
Load board discretion? maybe it is the personal touch? the person awarding the load doesn't like the way the cheap conducts their business and at 1.70 they still make some cash....
Leo..in that way we birds of a feather....I tell people I saved a buck and it is like...a whole buck?...and laugh...that buck over a years time is a pair of tires...
Admittedly Google Earth is the one thing I liked...
as far as the grunt. snarl....bah humbug.....*L*
No it is not a USB aircard...MiFi remote unit, 10 bucks cheaper
