I understand Chris....But unless there is time built into the run....or say arrival time is 3am and they don't open till 7am.....the only extra time you are allowed is the difference between your REAL TIME driving minus the 50 MPH time.....we are paid for DIRECT...

This is rather concerning that some think we should have naps, stopping to eat, walking their dog and have excessive spare time... maybe recruiting should be hammering this issue more?.....DIRECT means just that....

yep, that is about OTR rate......of course any DH will eat into that 40 cpm.... I'll throw out an "I heard"...company drivers aren't allowed to turn down loads.... even if them sprinters only get 18 mpg @ 4.00 a gal....that is about .22 per mile

Not quite a wasted day today....the dry run paid my fuel to cover my temper tantrum deadhead at least and now in Brookville Pa at the J....and it is a lot cooler/drier here the way over on the coast...I am fully expecting to get loaded outta here sometime tomorrow....
