I can't remember anyone ever posting that you don't have the right to strike or protest....there was quite a few who said it would be useless and piss off bobby 4 wheeler...and it won't change anything....and to be fair there were some that supported the strike/protest. They needed to vent...
Thats what I meant dave.....My van is around 6300 complete leaving 2250 for cargo legally....if they hada steel bulkhead and aot of gear they'd prolly be closer to 6600....leaving 1950 for cargo....Doesn't P2 require 2,000lbs???
A recruiter at LEA told my wife and I that A&E was UP to $1.50 per mile but didn't happen all the time...These shipments happen across the country and not on a regular basis as one could well understand....
Van requiements were....Solid bulkhead with no access from drivers compartment, Outside...
You do seem to have a problem at condensing context....not to say your long winded at times......*L*
Gotta go they want me to work....interesting concept eh???
Greg...Your right about MATS and probably every other truck show should have information booths and try to get the general public educated..and it wouldn't cost a bunch of money....The OOIDA sets up booths for joining up....but is there any info on the condition of our trade?? Not that I seen...
I would like to think there ain't trucker in this whole country that would turn that load down...truckers are softies at heart and they do care about this country.
And Eggs!!! Last year you could get a dozen for .75... the other day at Walmart $1,98!!!
And milk,,,don't even go there,,,the staples every family needs rich or poor...
Greg...I've noticed a trend in your responses and it seems any kind of physical protest your against....any particular reasoning?
People have to have an outlet for thier emotion not everyone feels better after writing thier congress person...it doesn't satisfy that feeling...sometimes just...
With the new Sprinters extended you could actually comply with the 75" length and still have 8 feet for 2 skids...
I thought the extended Chevy has about 12 feet??? You could still do a 1 skidder...but it would really eat into revenue.
We've had this discussion before....it would depend on the states definition of a truck and what they mean ALL commercial vehicles. In South Dakota the signs say commercial trucks over 8,000 lbs that would appear to mean Sprinters BUT what does thier DOT define a truck as....I should really go...
