    Define...."busy"? grossing $2,000 - 2,500 a week is not busy to me.... I remember the days of $3k - 4 k a week and an an occasion 5k 1,500 to 2 k was a bad week! Those days appear gone...

    Exactly... Paul....I've had that problem as well....getting too friendly! you do things that as a business one should not do...favours..unprofitable ones at that... I mean the offer is nice and all...BUT no thanks I'll handle it myself....:)

    I think there is more then a few carriers will help out a stranded driver.... When I hit a deer and had to cross dock at Steve Barrett's yard.... He offered what he could if I was short of cash to get to a repair shop and hotel room and I wasn't even on with him ! Kudos to Barrett Directline...
