In the days of yore NLM and others we had to have a QC but now they've changed the rules....look at how many do this without the QC.....yes our QC is virtually useless other then getting load info...Macro 19 is a virtual loss feature. We are being over charged for the useage we get.

I am reading how many have to be rescued because they exercised thier right to stay...they should be charged at least $500.00 per person for rescue "fee" Being a taxpayer I shouldn't have to pay for someones elses choices. Grrrrrr

I noticed on the way down here to Laredo....mostly just the J's with the prive increase.....3.59-3.89 for gas at Mobil/Exxon the J in Austin was 4.36 and in Jackson MS was 4.39...

Came thru some of Ike last night this morning and unloaded in Austin...DH'ed to Laredo....E-1 does better here then in Dallas...I know crazy world...

Only thing wrong with that idea....in the winter time I'd be deflecting the heat that I want! DOH

I know its competitive out there and there is the shareholders to pay but we are, in theory stakeholders as well....Some of the extra money could be recouped thru slowing the revolving thru recruitment dept. Maybe only having orientation every 2 weeks...theres ways to find the money.

I weighed out last week...me and wife...didn't have the coolers onboard or her purse*LOL*...but it was 6040 and 3/4 tank of fuel...so call it 6200....leaving 2350 for cargo...when I was solo I could take an extra 100 lbs or so...;)

I just read an article that wholesale gas went up 30% to-day or about $1.00 a gallon....now they did say gas....I'll assume diesels included.
