CLint Eastwood to speak at the Republican Convention

I can agree with that for the most part, but there are a lot of people unfortunatly are swayed by what some celebrity has to say. Most of them happened to be on the left. If they didn't believe they had any influence over people they probably wouldn't use them so much.

CLint Eastwood to speak at the Republican Convention

Clint was great. All the libs hated him for doing it so it must have worked like a charm. Although he wasn't silky smooth with his presentation, he was able to hammer home pearls of wisdom in between his slight stammering. Just brilliant.

CLint Eastwood to speak at the Republican Convention

Right, it was a way to have something original and different than just having another speech. Best line was : When someone isn't doing the job. "You have to let them go'.

Paul Ryan Republican speech 'contained errors'

Obama's promises not kept. Criticized by whom? The Obama campaign, the bias leftist media, fraudulant fact checkers? He will draw negative attention regardless what he or Romney says. Like the phony fact checker lambasting Romney's welfare ad.

Paul Ryan Republican speech 'contained errors'

Um ok. Sounds like a lawyeristic answer to me. So Obama gives a speech at the time to a Wisconsin crowd. He says plants "like this" but wasn't necessarily referring to the Wisconsin plant. He was actually referring to the Springhill plant? It IS a stretch. Depending of course what the...

Paul Ryan Republican speech 'contained errors'

Political blah blah? He promised the people of Wisconsin that the Janesville plant open would stay open and it didn't . As English Lady posed the question in her opening post: "Now why would a politician say one thing and mean another?" Pandering for votes maybe? Fact-checking the factcheckers...

    Armstrong Vs. Obama

So you think Obamcare will be a good thing for the economy? If Romney is elected and the republicans win the senate. They will have the 51 votes to repeal and Romney will sign it.

    Armstrong Vs. Obama

This list is similar to what Brisco posted a few days ago. If you think there isn't much difference ask yourself if Romney would have done any of the "firsts" Obama has done. There is a big difference. Doug Ross @ Journal: President Barack Obama's Complete List of Historic Firsts [Updated]...

Ron Paul won't speak at the RNC

This statement and specifically the term"neo" highlights why a lot of Ron Paul supporters won't support Romney. It is mostly about the foreign policy with them. The domestic policy comes in a very distant second. Nothing will persuade them to vote for him, even having Ron Paul's son Rand speak...

Ron Paul won't speak at the RNC

Agree. As much as he has no respect for Obama, his dislike of Romney and a No vote for him will only help the one he can't stand the most get reelected. Four more years of Obama? Does that have a nice ring to it?

    You cant touch me

My thoughts too about the garden issue. Whether having MS or breast cancer might prohibit someone from digging a garden, what difference does it make if someone wants to have one or not? Michelle Obama's garden is probably contrived because she is the first lady. Nothing wrong with that, but...
