I understand there will be deaths, if fired upon, by all means fire back and shoot to kill, However with that said, firing on a group of unarmed people is just wrong. That is something the East Germans would do, not the U.S.A. IMHO of course.

Asked and answered. Defend the borders as necessary, but not using the ruthless methods of the East Germans.

Securing and controlilng the borders using the military is one thing, but using the ruthless tactics used by the East Germans is another.
