The way things are to-day in this biz..if one has to rely on another and can not stand on their own they should really, really think long and hard and maybe look elsewhere....The liability/risk is way out of proportion..

I find the income is usually in portion to the risk/investment... The lesser the risk the lesser the income opportunities... heres one for yous looking in....your take home pay is $700 for the week...sound good? BUT wait you were in service for a whole week....which is 168 hours.... $700...

I believe there is a couple indepenent members here who are affiliated with NLM since before the Landstar takeover...they may chime in.... I also remember years ago when NLM started they demanded a QC unit as well....they've dropped their standards some to get a better price I think....Also...

Yes..much to the chagrin of some Americans the Cash 4 Clunkers has provided a window of opportunity for us to be busy as the auto companies ramp up their low inventories...but alas it may come to an abrupt end when they do...so stay in service and run like a deer while the sun is shining..
