It is a good start...They have to do something... Mandate they start the legalization process and give them say 2-3 years to do so....and toss the ones that don't do this... They seem to want to complicate what should be a simple process.

Some of the "great advice" has to be tempered with the knowledge that most of the pros here have fought the battle to be as successful as we have been...and it is long trudge uphill...we did not get here without our problems...And staying on top, is a constant struggle....the biz is in constant...

Exactly.....know your bottom line and don't run unprofitable loads....and rake them over the coals every chance you get...don't give them a break because at these rates the carriers are doing absolutely NOTHING to help you out despite all the patting of the back....

IMO right now C/V's are being used/exploited with rates being cut to bare bones to help bolster/finance sweetheart deals for straight truck fleet owners....:mad: As of this writing E-1 is the lowest paid CV of the major players...
